The year of Maquisards No. 17, “the best of all”, with 30 participants in 9 jeeps.
Our 2018 activities
- 6–8 April Maquisards No. 17 — the best of all! The Sennecey-le-Grand, Brancion and Blanot area. 30 participants in 9 jeeps, in 2 troops (Blues against Reds). Around fifteen missions: topography, tactics, an ambush against a half-tracked convoy, observation and an air-drop by motor glider, the SAS museum, the Brancion memorial.
- 18 June At the Ruffey SAS Memorial, at the request of the DMD 71: a display of 7 jeeps and 1 scout car at the fourragère award of the 1st RPIMa of Bayonne, heir to the traditions of the 3rd SAS.
- 24–26 August Maquisards No. 18, Brancion area.
- 4 September Took part in the ceremony at Ruffey, SAS Memorial, with 5 jeeps.
