Our 2021 activities
Sennecey association — Memory of the Resistance.
- 16–18 February Remembrance route of the Vauban and Camille maquis in the north Morvan, 4 participants in 2 P4 jeeps. Alésia, Châteauneuf. Accommodation at the Saulieu-Liernais airfield, at André's.
- 22 May Funeral of one of our members, Captain (Navy) Jacques Myskowski who, as mayor of Melay, had a monument erected to the memory of Jean Moulin, who had landed in that village in March 1943 shortly before his death.
- 4–7 June Planning weekend in Gergy, 5 participants, reconnaissance of the Château de Pierre-de-Bresse.
- 1 August SAS remembrance raid, 17 participants in 4 jeeps: Sennecey, Brancion, a visit to Georges Duriaud, a Resistance veteran.
- 27–29 August Maquisards No. 23 weekend, 9 participants in 4 jeeps, accommodation in St-Romain, a raid via Brully and the Lusigny maquis cave, as far as Jacques, a restorer of military vehicles. Tactical actions.
- 4 September Ceremony for the liberation of Sennecey-le-Grand, 4 participants in 3 jeeps.
- 3 October Took part in the St-Bonnet-de-Joux “tradivaliste” session, taught by a gifted herbalist. 7 participants. Plants & bushcraft with Diane.
