Two Maquisards operations, a Morvan remembrance route and participation in the SAS ceremonies.
Our 2019 activities
- 5–7 April Maquisards No. 19, 12 participants in 4 jeeps, quartered at St-Romain. A raid as far as the Agneux defile near Rully, reconnaissances (caves, viaduct, dry-stone shelters), observation by helicopter, the recollections of Gilbert Grangeret, a Jura maquis veteran.
- 29–30 June Armed Forces Days organised by the DMD 71 at Sennecey-le-Grand and Mâcon: 4 jeeps and a stand, jeep rides for the public.
- 16–18 August Maquisards No. 20, 10 participants, accommodation at the Étangs de Laives. An ambush against a scout car, reconnaissances via the Aujoux cave, Brancion, the Crue farm, Cruzille; the recollections of Georges Duriaux, a Resistance veteran.
- 4 September Ceremony at the Ruffey SAS Memorial with the 1st RPIMa of Bayonne: 7 jeeps, parachute jumps.
- 25–27 October Morvan Remembrance Route: the Socrate and Bernard maquis, the St-Brisson museum, the martyred village of Dun-les-Places, Mont Beuvray. 8 participants in 4 jeeps.
