2023 Activities

Our association in 2023

• 13 May Activity at the SAS museum of Sennecey-le-Grand for “Museum Night”. Rides for visitors in 2 jeeps with Raphaël and François. Fuel paid for by the town council.
• 19 May Maquis-SAS remembrance raid for the Mutel family, with François's jeep.
• 3 June “Rally of the heart” against childhood cancer. 1 jeep with Matthieu at Villefranche-sur-Saône.
• 3 June For the “An aeroplane, a child, a dream” association at the Champforgeuil airfield: free jeep rides for visitors with Raphaël and François.
• 14 June Maquis-SAS remembrance raid for the Lerouge family, with François's jeep.
• 25 July Maquis-SAS remembrance raid for the Lithard and Pernin families. François's jeep.
• 26–27 August 25th “Maquisards” operation with Pierre, Fabien, Benjamin and François in 2 jeeps. Saturday: the capture of the airfield and the Brully farm, setting up the layout with Philippe's aircraft, an air-drop of “treasury” (not recovered), a visit to the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, a talk on UFOs. Sunday: Mass in Chalon, the Franco-American Historial of Beaune, tactical reconnaissance of ruined farms. Accommodation in Gergy. A fine success despite the lack of participants.
• 4 September Traditional ceremony at the Ruffey SAS memorial, chaired by the minister. With Éric and Éric in their SAS jeep, and Gabrielle and François with his jeep.
• 23 September Maquis-SAS remembrance raid via Sennecey, Corlay and Brancion, for the Martin family reunion. 8 people in 4 jeeps with Raphaël, Jean-Marc and François.
• 24 September Activity for the “open day” at the Chalon-Champforgeuil airport. Jeep rides offered to the very large public. A great success. 3 Willys jeeps and a P4 driven by Jean-Pierre, Jean-Marc, Jacques and François. Fuel paid for by Grand-Chalon.
