Our "Remembrance" offerings
For groups of 6 to 100 people.
Talks
In a rustic setting (the outbuildings of the former La Ferté abbey), an evocation of the local Resistance, of Guy de Combaud's epic and of the history of the SAS.
Display of period equipment
Military vehicles, a gas-powered "traction" car, weapons, uniforms, parachuting equipment.
Guided tour of the abbey
By its owner, the great-nephew of Guy de Combaud.
"Remembrance" circuit
Discovering the area of the Corlay Maquis, the sites of the Battle of Sennecey, the observatory on the Laives hill, the future SAS museum at Sennecey, with a moment of reflection at the SAS monuments at Ruffey and the Resistance monuments at Sennecey-le-Grand. With a guide and a maquis veteran — on foot, by bicycle, or in Hotchkiss-Willys jeeps very close to those of the 1944 SAS, driven by the visitors.
Guided tour of the SAS museum at Sennecey-le-Grand
As these activities have a cost, a tailor-made quote is drawn up for each project.
Note that, as our association owns no period equipment, vehicles or objects, these are provided each time by collectors and service providers.
Another option: SAS Jeep manoeuvre
Former servicemen can let you experience a tactical clash of "maquisards" against "invaders" in jeeps, with an armoured patrol, simulated sabotage, aerial observation, tracker dogs, and so on. Over 1 to 3 days, for groups of 6 to 40 participants.
